INTRODUCTION:

Motorcycles have always been a passion. Whether racing or touring, motorcycling and motorcycle people make for a wonderful life.

I guess I've been riding for around 60 years, and during that time have been lucky to experience most aspects of the "sport". I was able to start riding on my 16th birthday with a Triumph Tiger Cub, and went Road Racing a couple of years later. Trials, Enduros and Scrambles (MotoX) followed this, plus pretty continuous road riding both solo and sidecar. Nowadays, touring, vintage trials and vintage road racing keep us busy, not to mention financially stretched!!

Vintage Motorcycling is very much alive and well in the Montreal area of Canada, and the CVMG (Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group) has a flourishing section in Montreal (over 100 strong at the last count). We have monthly meetings, a great annual rally (our Section Founding President says it's the most fun with your clothes on!!!) and run around 10 vintage trials a year. You couldn't ask for a finer bunch of folks in a club.

We are also very fortunate in having Canada's premier vintage motorcycle specialists and parts warehouse right on our doorstep, so please visit or call:

Chris and Susan Stewart; Moto Montreal Cycle; 1601 Wellington Street, Montreal, Quebec, Canada H3K 1V8, Tel: 514-932-9718 (they specialise in everything for Triumph., BSA, Norton etc and are main agents for the modern Triumph range).

If anyone needs information on Triumph tuning, preparation or modification, for Road racing, Moto-X, Trials or just riding, please email me at – m4101ep@yahoo.com and I will do my best to help.
